Moran Reudor

My development as an artist was gradual and uneven. I did not have a clear beginning, only a steady need to make and to understand through doing. I learned by trial and error, keeping what felt honest and letting go of the rest.

I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. Over the past several years, this led me naturally into children’s book illustration, a field I feel deeply connected to. I never fully know how an illustration will turn out. It begins in imagination, continues through the movement of the hand, and slowly a character appears. This process, quiet and intuitive, is what keeps me working and engaged.
